Damali Burmese are beautiful animals, bred for all the qualities that make Burmese the ideal cat for you and your family.

Burmese are affectionate, relaxed and social cats who form a strong bond with their human companions.They have a lovely nature, and remain playful, almost kitten-like, throughout their lives. They have many dog-like characteristics, and can even be taught to fetch. We like to call them 'cats for people who like dogs'.

They tend to be less vocal than Siamese cats, with a softer, more pleasant voice, but they will talk when they have something to say. They enjoy human company and don't like to be alone for extended periods of time, so they are ideal companion animals.

They make great pets if you have children, or other pets, especially dogs. We recommend that they remain indoors, as they seem to lack road-sense. They enjoy cars, and are relaxed about riding in them, but will jump into a trademan's ute or visitor's car ... so keep them inside.

Damali Burmese is located in Geelong, Victoria, and our kittens are raised in our house. So, they are well socialised, used to kids and other cats, litter-trained and virtually bomb-proof when they come to you at twelve weeks. We are registered with the Governing Council of Cat Fancy Australia and Victoria.

Our breeding queens, Marra and Willow, are both blue, and we mate them with a chocolate or brown stud. Kitten colours are blue, brown, chocolate and lilac. Our cats usually have about three litters every two years, with kittens born in the autumn and spring. Check our 'kittens' page for availability.
